Sunday 11/10 | 2 – 4 PM | Fullerton Barnes & Noble
Check out this GREAT post by Dave Baldwin, a San Diego financial advisor and author of the book The Balancing Act:
Dave uses my book to break down 5 quick lessons that anyone can use right away to help get started talking to kids about healthy money habits while they are YOUNG.
I highly recommend signing up for Dave's weekly email called "The Weekly Allowance" which gives a wealth of tips and ideas for managing your budget to achieve financial independence.
You can sign up HERE. He also has an active Facebook page HERE.
J. J. was a guest on a super-fun VIDEO podcast that aired this week from a company called Leafy Legal Services, a podcast that focuses primarily on Real Estate Investing as well as Financial Planning.
We discussed ways to get your kids thinking about money and investing at a young age.
Watch the video at this link on YouTube or wherever you listen to podcasts by searching Leafy Legal.
A visit with a group of "Moms of Teens" prompted JJ to write a new article posted on Medium.com: Compound Interest: Taking Einstein for Granted
The article walks through the basics of compound interest and why Einstein called it "the most powerful force in the universe" as well as "the 8th wonder of the world".
Thanks for reading! Have a great week!
With gratitude,
Jodie and JJ
